FAQ
Questions, from the product.
Short answers based on how AppScreenshots works today.
Who is it for?
People shipping an iOS or Android app who need store screenshots: indie developers and small teams who would rather not design every frame by hand.
What do I actually get?
A set of marketing frames that share one campaign: palette, type, and placement. Each frame can carry a headline and a shorter line. You can also generate a single frame. You pick an output size for iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet, then download the images and upload them to App Store Connect or the Play Console yourself.
Can I start from my current store listing?
You can paste a public App Store or Play Store URL. That pulls listing text such as the name and description. The new screenshots are built from the raw captures you upload. Images fetched from the live listing are stored with the app.
Which languages can the headlines use?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Arabic, Persian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Hindi, Thai, Swedish, Polish, Indonesian, Vietnamese. You can edit the lines before you generate.
How do I start?
Sign up with Google or GitHub. You can create an app and generate as soon as the account exists. If you already have an account, sign in with the same provider.
What does it cost?
Each generated frame spends credits. A frame costs 10 credits when it finishes quickly, and more when it takes longer, up to 30. Packs are $5.99 for 100 credits, $19.99 for 500 credits, $69.99 for 2,000 credits, in US dollars, bought inside the product. A new account receives 60 starter credits once, the first time it is set up.
Who owns the images?
You keep what you upload. Generated images are yours to download and use. You are responsible for the rights in your captures, and for what you submit to Apple or Google. Read the copy before you ship it. The model can miss.
Can I delete my account and files?
Yes. Profile settings include account deletion. That removes the login and the stored files tied to the account, including uploaded captures and generated images.
Do you use cookies or analytics?
Sign-in uses essential session cookies. The site also loads Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies and records which pages are opened. There is no advertising cookie, and there is no cookie banner in the product today.
Can someone else work on my app?
You can invite a collaborator by email. After they sign in, they can view, edit, upload captures, and generate. Generation uses the app owner's credits.
Will Apple or Google accept the files?
Output is sized for common App Store and Play slots, including 1290×2796 and 1320×2868 for iPhone, and 1344×2992 for a large Android phone, plus iPad and Android tablet sizes. You check the current store rules, then upload the files yourself.
